The same weekend that we did Laura & Adam's engagement session at A&M, we were able to do a few bridal portraits on some family land in Independence, TX (i.e. Heaven on earth!) Legend has it that Sam Houston was set to be baptized in a spring fed baptismal on the property, but got drunk the night before and filled in the baptismal with sticks, leaves and rocks! What an amazing and historical place for portraits of a Texas girl!
It was simply a magical place and Laura glowed in front of the century old oak trees, while holding a bouquet of Texas Bluebonnets. Can you get any more awesomely Texas than that?!
